Ordination to the Priesthood – Deacon Joseph Stefancin
From 4:00 pm to 6:00 pmDEACON JOSEPH STEFANCIN will be ordained to the Sacred Order of the Priesthood at 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, at Cathedral of Christ the King, Superior. Deacon Joe’s Ordination Mass (July 19) and Mass of Thanksgiving are by INVITATION ONLY due to Covid-19. Normally, attendance at Ordination Masses is strongly encouraged but NOT this year. Please share this message with the your faith community. The Ordination Mass will be live streamed for everyone to watch (the Diocesan website will have more information soon). Those who receive an invitation MUST send in their RSVP as soon as possible and no later than July 1. A ticket will be sent to those who return their RSVP; with that ticket you will be permitted to attend the Mass you were invited to. No one will be allowed entrance to the Mass(es) unless they have a ticket – please remember to bring it with you to the Mass. If Deacon Joe does not receive an RSVP confirming your attendance, your ‘seat’ will be given to someone else. It is very important that if you receive an invite, to reply as soon as possible. Deacon Joe is disappointed in that he has to limit his guests. He is asking for your prayers and hopes those of you not invited will be present in spirit and watching via internet. Thank you for your understanding (and your immediate replies to your invite). God bless you.
